The study examined alterations in the Oba Hills Forest Reserve from 1984 to 2020 and projected future changes due to increasing significant land uses in the protected forest area. Satellite images from Landsat TM, ETM+, and OLI/TC for the years 1984, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020 were obtained from the United States Geological Survey. Ground-truth data were gathered to improve the accuracy of the image classifications.
